Calling all fellow DIY-ers...HELP.

Ok. Ok. Ok....
So I know I've been MIA for the past....ohhh....
3 weeks.
holy cow, I know, right?!

But I promise I've got some good stuff for you coming up.

I plan on posting lots more recipes coming up.
I made a yummy in my tummy homemade pot pie last night, and man was it delish.
(Look for that post coming soon...)

But onto the purpose of my post today...
I need help.

DIY help.

I have this super cute, vintage old green chair that I use as a prop for my photography.

But the green color just isn't working for me. It blends in too much with the background noise.

I want to paint it!

Has anyone ever painted fabric furniture?

I can't find anything online that really helps me here...
I found mixing 1/2 paint and 1/2 water...but thats it.

So.
Has anyone ever done this or has any tips?!

I would love you forever if you did!

My husband HATES getting his picture taken, so we went ahead and featured our furry BEST friend for the front.

I designed them, and had them printed on a pearladescent stock. Turned out awesome pre-tay awesome if I do say so myself.

First I must share some exciting news...

Josh and I (and his brother and sister) got tickets to see Kenny Chesney in July!
(For those who don't know, Kenny is my #1 favoritest singer in the world. I love all his music and it's on my bucket list)
Even better news, we'll be 10 rows from the stage!
BAh!! Guess who couldn't sleep last night because of pure excitement! EEEK!
Too bad its 8 months away.
Boo.

If you're like me, reading and stalking other peoples blogs all day, you're always wondering "Man, I wonder what she does everyday".

I, sit in front of a massive 27" computer screen, doing graphic design.

Well, I'd say 25% of the time I get to design, the other 75% of the time I get to do other BS because I'm

the runt of the group. Fantastic.

Here's a tour around my wonderful 'work area'...

Prepare to have your pants blown off (I kid, I kid!)

Left side of my desk. This is the "Project sheet" holder, as I like to call it. Outstanding projects get put in this thing, from 2+ years ago. It's pre-tay awesome!

See that awesome window? I get to look at the beautiful waters of the island of Anegada (British Virigin Islands) everyday, minus the sun tan.

(we have no windows in our office a.k.a. "the cave", so we made our own)

Wonderful computer. If y'all don't work on a Mac, then you don't know what your missing.

Right side of the desk. That hole sometimes has spiders and other creepy crawly things that come out of it.

Again, pre-tay awesome!

This is the light of "the cave" for me. Little baby Reecer Marie, water, my canker sore medicine (I get them all the time!), my pen collection with stickers, and beautiful fake flowers. Oh so lovely!

Each time we get a drink from our local coffee shop, they put these fun little 'travel' stickers so the drink doesn't spill out the sipping hole.

I've been collecting for a while and I'm proud of my collection!

The bracelet hanging from it is one that I got on our honeymoon. It always falls off, so it has found its home on the frame for now.

DIY...Easy Tree-sy.

Ya like that title? Like, easy peasy, lemon squeezy!

Ok, maybe not so much...

Its been a while since I've done a DIY.

Heck, blogged for all the matter.

This is one DIY that I did while I was recovering from the massive 'thing' I had growing on my ovary (please ladies, go get a yearly exam no matter how bad it sucks).

All you need is an old magazine.

And some loose glitter and clear spray paint if you want to get fancy...

Lets begin, shall we?!

Start with your magazine.

"Break" the spine in multiple places throughout the magazine.

Starting wherever your heart desires, begin folding the pages in towards the middle.

Then fold in again.

Do this until all the pages are done.

It gets a little tricky when it starts to get thick, but use those muscles and keep on folding!

Once you have it all the way folded, fold the bottom up into the flap & crease.

Do this all the way done, and...
VA WA!

I use a little bit of tape to secure the covers together (they sort of gap since they're so much thicker than the pages)

Now if you wanna get fancy...

Spray the clear paint, and sprinkle on the glitter.

Easy huh?! You can do about 2 within an hour DVR'd show :)

Its nice to get Readers Digest, or other small ones to have different sizes.

My Wedding Day

So I've been wanting to post pictures of my wedding day, for....forever. But out of 2100 pictures, it was pretty hard to narrow it down to just a couple.

I spend a lot of time working on my wedding, making things exactly the way that I wanted (and on a pretty small budget). I had crafted just about everything. We made the centerpieces, decorations at the church, my head piece, my shoes (well, I didn't make them, but I embelished them), bouquets. invitations, programs...the whole SHI-BANG.

I started putting them in order, but then, lost my patience (see previous post), so they're all scrambled.

Hope you enjoy a peek into my special day.

I made these for all my bridesmaids. Super easy!

Loved my bouquet. Although my grandma couldn't make it to see me get married, she was there in spirit. I surprised my dad (this was his mom) right before he walked me down.

Loved all my accessories. I had a customized clutch that I used at the reception. It was perfect for lipstick, a mirror, and a flask. Kidding, no flash for me. We had plenty of booze.

I was very particular about my veil. It had to be in the perfect spot.

RECEPTION TIME!

Entrance into the church. Our reception was at the Historic Ohio State Reformatory. If your thinking "Ew, thats creepy", at times, it was. There are rumors that the place is haunted, and we had a couple guests experience not normal things. Scenes from Shaw Shank were filled here as well. It was an awesome location. I loved it.

He was pretty excited about getting that garter.

Me and my daddio. We danced to "Isn't she lovely". The song was 7 minutes long. NO, we didn't dance the whole song. (Thank you bridal party!)

The yummiest part of our wedding, cheesecakes! No traditional cake for us. We had Keylime Pie, Espresso Chip, Mixed Berry, Snickers & plain cheesecakes. They were a huge hit.

At this location, they say "ghosts" walk back and fourth at the very top of these stairs. Our photographer did capture some weird figures in a few of the shots. So cool!

I wore these gloves (that I made of course) at the reception.

These doors were used as a movie prop in the movie "Air Force One"

One of my duties that night, getting my red lipstick off the groom. :)

It was such an amazing day. I want to do it all over again. Even the planning. I loved every minute of it.

Thanks for looking and hope I inspired a couple of you soon to be brides out there. You can save a ton of $$ by making things yourself. Plus, it keeps you busy so you're not stressing over the small things :)

HELP!

Hey lovies-
So I am really interested in getting a new toy. I love my camera and feel like I could sleep with it every night, but I want something BIGGER and BETTER.
I'm pretty sure I booked my first wedding next summer, and I want to practice, practice & practice.
I only have one rule...must be a Canon.
I've saved up some money, and am willing (with a big gulp) to splurge a little on myself. For once!

Currently I have a Canon Rebel T2i, and I've learned a lot from it.

But I feel like I could do so much more if I had something better.

Any suggestions my lovies?

another DIY headband

And totally wished they made it for adults. Boo.

Sooooo....what better idea then to try and create it myself!

Since Michelle's husband was throwing her a surprise birthday get together this past weekend, I had to get to it!

I didn't have to buy A THING. I used old leggings and shirts and a glue gun.

Here's what I did...easy peasy!

Step 1

Cut your old shirts/sweaters/leggings into strips.

Step 2

Glue the strips in half. (fold and glue)

Step 3

Begin to roll your strip of fabric into a 'snail'.

Step 4

After mr. 'snail' has started, begin to twist as your build your snail.

Step 5

Once you have your flower/'snail' to the size of your liking, snip and glue to secure the end.

Step 6

Take another strip of fabric (A little thicker. This will be your headband part) Glue down the sides, almost like you would do when you would sew/hem pants...

Step 7

Decide where you want to place your flowers and how you want to arrange them.

Then, glue away!

I added a couple other embellishments that I had left over from my wedding.

Here is the final product. (sorry about the phone pic)

Michelle loved it (I believe...)

and I want to make one for my self, once I get caught up on my 4 photoshoots.

7 for 7 wonderful things

I thought I'd put together a list of some of my favorite products that I use almost everyday.

I'm not a high-roller, by any means, so a lot of these products are very inexpensive.

I love this nail polish. This color is called "Manhattan".

For me, it usually lasts on my nails about 3 days before it starts to chip...and I'm not a top-coat kinda girl.

This volumizer is A-mazing. AMAZING. And the smell makes me want to eat it.

I put it in my hair right after I get it slightly dry. Just towards the roots. Then I blow dry with a round brush. It works perfect, especially when I tease it.

I does have a weird texture once its dried in your hair though. Nothing gross, but you can def. tell that there is product in your hair. Know what I mean?

But its lovely and I love it. I got it from my hair salon, and a little bit goes a long way. I only use about the size of a dime (since I only put it on the roots).

This is wonderful face 'stuff'. I don't ever wear night cream, or anything like that. And I rarely wear face lotion because I am blessed with the oh-so-wonderful, oily skin. Wahoo! I have been putting this on before bed (again, I should really check to see how/when your supposed to use it), but I know that when I wake up in the AM, my face feels and looks "refreshed". Total steal in my book, go Avon!

I love this spray stuff. I don't even know if I use it the way its meant to be used, but it works for me. I spray it on right before I straighten my hair and it keeps all the fly aways down and I think it makes it straighter too. They always say that you should use some type of 'heat protectant' on your hair before straightening, so this is what I use. Whether or not thats what your supposed to do, I don't know :)

I also got this at my hair salon.

If you like the smell of Aveda shampoo, then you'll def. like the smell of this. Something about the rosemary and mint just makes me feel so fresh 'n so clean clean. My hair is normally really dry, and this shampoo def. makes me hair not dry. If anything, maybe a little too greasy looking, but thats what matte powder is for. Right ladies? Tell me ya'll know this trick?!

This is my go-to scent & thanks to Kaylee over at Not your Typical Twig for introducing me to it many many years ago. This scent is slightly manly smelling, but yet feminine at the same time. If anyone has ever smelled Dolce & Gabana's Light Blue, this is it's twin. Bad thing is, I personally don't think the scent lasts that long.

This eyeshadow palette is from F21. Surprising huh?! It's not the most long lasting eyeshadow, I'll say that. But for me, this palette is perfect. I've used every single one of the shadows on the top, and wear them on a regular basis. I haven't tried the ones in the 2nd tier, yet. Not really a 'sparkley' type of girl. For $3.50, I'd totally recommend it.

OMG.

This is deeeeelish.

Takes about 15 min, and about $5.
My kind of dessert!

Here's what you'll need:

Vanilla wafers

2 packages of instant vanilla pudding (or white chocolate)

1 tub of whipped cream

caramel topping (like for ice cream)

milk (1 1/4 cup)

foil

9x12 baking pan

a best friend (very important)

Step 1

Line your baking pan with foiling, making sure to cover all sides (I had to add an extra piece on the side to make sure it was covered)

Line bottom of pan with 12 'nila wafers.

Eat some 'nilas.

Step 2

Mix pudding packets with 1 1/4 cup of milk. Wisk together reeeeal good.

Once all mixed together, add tub of whipped cream.

Give some whipped cream to your best friend.


Please excuse her sock toy.

Step 3

Spoon about 1/3 of the mixture on top of the 'nila wafers.

Drizzle caramel sauce on top. Spread around.

Step 4

Repeat the process of Step 3 until you've reach the top of the pan!

Voooooowaaa!

Step 5
Place in freeze for about 4 hours or until frozen.

To serve

Remove from tin by pulling up on the sides of the tin foil.

Pull back and remove the foil and place on plate.

Slice and serve!

Looks delish right!

On this Labor Day...

I LOVE everything in this outfit. This totally screams my name.

Forecast says 91 degrees for our Labor Day Cookout tomorrow so I went with a light tank and jeans (I normally don't ever wear shorts...) Must make sure I can have full range of motion with my arms so I can WHIP everyone's butt in cornhole! :)

The cardigan is perfect for when it starts to cool down in the evening, and lately I've been wearing my Sanuks everywhere I go.

Thanks to Reece, the back heel is almost gone :(

I got a curling wand for my birthday!

I practiced on my already wavy hair in this picture, and did it yesterday and it was overly curly.
Almost too curly.
Good news is it stayed in my hair almost all day, and just for that reason, I'm keeping it!
My hair doesn't hold barrel curls from the regular curling iron EVER, so I'll def. keep this for that purpose!

Oh it was a wonderful birthday weekend, filled with many laughs and memories!

We went up to Cleveland to 2 Indians games.
These were very important games (so my hubby tells me) so they can keep their rank and be in the championship!

Birthday Week, Wha what?!

TP Wall Décor, Whaaa?

Meet your match.

Toilet paper rolls + glue + spray paint =

Cheapest wall décor ever!

I've seen this DIY floating all over blog land for a while, and I knew it'd be the perfect addition to an empty wall in our living room.

I am so excited to show you guys this awesome (but time consuming) DIY.

Hold your horses, its going to get a little messy.

(Bahaha, get it, cause of the toilet paper....?? OK yeah that was bad)

Ok.

Step 1

Cut your toilet paper (or paper towel) rolls into about 1/4" strips.

(A glass of wine, and reruns of your fav. show go perfect for this part)

You'll need a lot of these.

I had all my family and co-workers collecting them for me during this process.

Once you had quite a bit 1/4" made, move onto the next step.

Step 2

Take 4, 1/4" strips, and put the centers together (with glue) to make a 'flower' shape.

Step 3

Once you get a bunch of these 'flowers' made, start putting them together by adding glue in the corners.

Step 4

Once you have the right length of the 'flowers' put together, start putting your rows together.

Once you have everything glued together, time for spray paint!

I suggest putting an old sheet down so it doesn't get all over.

After gluing and painting, you will have something that looks like this:

Step 5

Figure out how you want to arrange your wall art. I've seen them where they use empty frames, paintings, photos, etc. to act as a 'focal point' on this piece.

Put up whatever focal point you choose.

Step 6

Next, take some 3M wall stickers, and place on the back of the toilet paper creation.

Step 7

Place toilet paper creation on the wall.

and VA-WALL!

Say hi to our little model.

I mean, I might be bias, but I think this looks pretty sweet.

All it cost me was spray paint. I had all the other supplies from other DIY projects.

So a whiles back, I posted that I was going to a Steel Magnolia & Lee Brice concert.

I went with one of my best friends Tyler (cool name, huh?) and her twin sister Sarah to the Knox County Fair. YeeeeeHaw!

The above picture is before all the sweatiness started. It had rained about 1/2 hour before we got there, and our seats were on the track, which was basically a dirt/mud track.

That thing was a pure mud pit by the time the concert started.

Our poor shoes :(

Here are some pics that I got.

Steel Magnolia started from CMT's Can you Duet? Josh and Meghan just got engaged too.

I can't decide if it'd be fun to tour with your husband or frustrating? I'm not sure I could handle all the girls going goo-goo-ga-ga over my husband-to-be?

Lee Brice was an added bonus. I didn't know he could rock the house like he did, but he was AWESOME. And he's pretty easy on the eyes :)

I love country concerts and really hope we could of went to more this year.

What the Swap?

Few weeks ago, my bf Michelle told me about this "Swap" event.

I'm all about getting mail so I thought "Why not!"

I had Kayla (Check out her blog and see what I got her. I totally wanted to keep it for myself... )

She seemed to understand what I was all about...

ACCESSORIES.

I got this cool glass heart shaped necklace with yellow and cream coloring, and this "safari" bracelet.

She also got me these sweet smelly things you put in your drawers.
Too bad I don't have any drawers, but they work just as good in my closet!

Swap as fun and I'd totally do it again.

Mostly because I love getting mail and giving someone a little bit of me and my style :)

OH my blogger, where have you been?

More like where have I been.

I've been away from blogger all weekend, so looks like I'll be catching up on on ya'lls blogs tonight during commercials of Bachelor Pad.

Ok. Where to begin...

One thing I'm super excited about is my first "offical" client at n.ryan photography (get over to Facebook and "like" it, won'tcha?, website coming soon!)

Here's one of my favorites from Miss Kelsey's Senior shoot.

I also had the pleasure of shooting this little girl & her fam. She has the prettiest eyes.

And! Had some fun takin' some glamour shoots of Miss Kaylee over at Not Your Typical Twig.

Now for the 7 wants.

I WANT a lot of things that I DON'T have.

7: I want:
MERMAID HAIR!
Long, wavy, mermaid hair.

6: I want:
Our puppy to learn to listen. She is testing my patience, thats for sure!
Typical day at the Dawson household...

Us: C'mon Reece, lets go inside. C'mon.
Reece: ((walking around smelling grass)) "I hear someone calling my name..."
Us: Reece Marie. COME. Reece, COME.
Reece: ((still smelling grass)) "Oh they must want my attention or something...."
Us: REECE. COME. COME.
Reece: ((running around)) "Maybe if I run from them they won't yell at me. See mommy, isn't this fun!?"

I think it's all a game to her. Oh Reecer Greaser. What are we going to do with you?

Getting to be a big girl! (both of us!)

5: I want:
To have a happy & successful marriage.
Not saying that I'm not happy, cause I am! I just want it to continue. I feel like so many relationships turn sour and I pray that ours doesn't.

4: I want:
To be back at my wedding weight. Yes I know your probably asking yourself, how could she of gained that weight back in only 3 months?
Dr. says it all has to deal with stress.
Getting married, starting a new life together, moving in together, taking upon the "wife" role, stress about work, stress all over! It all adds up.
Dear stress: Please go away and don't come back. Thank you.

3: I want:
To do my wedding day all over again.
I loved getting all dressed up, getting my hair did, make up did and hanging out with my best girlies.
I loooooved my dress and might just have to put it on again and dance around the house in it :)

2: I want:
People to stop "showing off" their wonderful lives on Facebook. Do you have those 'friends' on Facebook that are always boasting about how wonderful their lives are, how awesome their job is, how cute their family is? It gets annoying to me. If you think you're wonderful, just keep it to yourself.
Facebook land doesn't want to hear about it everyday.

8 fears and a toughy

8 fears?
Why do I feel like this is going to be difficult to put my fears actually out in the blue...

What a toughy...

8. Fear of:
The dark. Especially the night dark. Dark woods, dark rooms...
Going outside and letting Reece out in the middle of the night scares the bajebees out of me!

7. Fear of:
Loosing the diamond out of my engagement ring. Totally silly right?
I've known a couple girls that have lost their stone, and hopefully I'm not one of them.
Thank goodness for insurance!

6: Fear of:
The creatures of the ocean!
Shark-week?! Who wants to learn about those scary monsters?!?! Not me!
Did you hear about the girl that got attacked by a shark in like 13in deep water with her mom only yards away? It just so happens that where it happened at is he place where we are going on vacation next year. Hatteras Island. Fantastic right?!?

No.

5: Fear of:
My husband dying
My husband's career makes the idea of death more believable everyday. If that makes sense?
Who knows if some crazy loon will happen to have a gun and decide to shot it, at him.
One thing I know that Josh knows (which helps at times), is that HE is the one that comes home every night. No matter what. He has a family and a wife that NEED him and he'll do whatever he has to to make that statement true.

4: Fear of:
Not being successful.
That sounds selfish, but I mean it in the most unselfish way. I want to look back on my career and be like "Wow, I was really great at that and succeeded"

3: Fear of:
Babies!
Holding a new born baby (like...less than 6 months old) is so frightening! I feel like I'm going to break the poor thing! They're so precious I wouldn't want to hurt it! Anyone else with me on this one?

2: Fear of:
Being alone. Sort of goes along with the whole 'dark' & 'husband dying' thing. Night time is the worst time for being alone in the dark, and days that I don't hear from Josh while he's working are scary too.

1: Fear of:
Having to save someone's life. Does that make sense? Like, what happens if I'm somewhere and someone needs medical help and there isn't anyone else around, and its all up to ME? What happens if I can't save them?! I know CPR but what if its too late.
Does anyone else think of about this sort of stuff??

Oh pickle dickle...

So I said yesterday that I would post about my pickle creation.

No, I didn't create this, but whoever did sure is genius!

If you don't like pickles (dill, that is) then you can skip this post.

I'm not sure what the 'technical' name for these are, but my husband calls them 'Donkey' starts with a 'd' ends with an 'icks' (must keep it blogger friendly of course). If you know of the real name for these, let me know! It's getting embarrassing to say :)

Here's what you'll need.

Dill Pickles (1 jar, whole pickles)

cream cheese

salami (I used Hillshire Farm brand because I didn't feel like paying $6.99/lb)

tooth picks

I snapped some pics of the process.

Really easy, but a little time consuming.


This is the best pickle to use. So delish!

Step 1: Take our your pickles, and let them dry on a paper towel.

Step 2: Spread the cream cheese onto the salami.

It goes faster if you do a bunch at once.

Step 3: Take your cream cheese salami, and wrap your pickle in them.

It took me 4-6 slices of salami to cover the pickle.

Step 4: Put tooth picks into the pickle about 1/4 inch apart.

I try and put them in so it holds the salami together.

Step 5: Slice and serve!

I forgot to take a picture of all of them once I had them arranged,

but they are always a hit at get togethers.

Welp, here it goes:

I have a secret crush on Jeff from Big Brother.

Don't tell my hubby :)

I'm a very jealous person.

Sometimes it gets the best of me.

When I was little, people thought my BROTHER and I were twins.

I was a tomboy, had short hair, and wore Umbro shorts everyday...OKAY? :)

I don't wash my hair everyday because I hate blow drying it.

I say I don't like certain foods, even though I've never tried them.

As mush as I HATE being alone, I sometimes like it.

DIY headband >$5

I love Wednesdays. Not only because of "Oh How Pinteresting Wednesday"...but because

(1) Husband is off work which means sleep for me! Yea!

(2) dinner prepared by husband because he loves food and loves to grill

(3) Biiiiiiiig Brotherrrrrrrr

AND

(4) Craft time while watching Biiiiiiiiig Brooother!

Ok.

This is super super easy, and I can't believe this is the first time I've done this.

It cost me less than $5 and I think a 2 year old could do it.

I got all my supplies from Hobby Lobby (insert choir singing here)

Here's what you'll need:

Ribbon/cord with beads (I got the whole spool for $2)

Headband (2 pack for $1)

Tacky Glue

Sisscors

Felt (I used an off-white color)

This is the ribbon/cord stuff I got

Coil the ribbon/cord up like a snail.

I added glue along the sides to hold it all together.

Make sure you're working on a flat surface, or else it'll be un-even.

Once you have your 'snail' to the size you want, snip the ends and seal it together with some tacky glue. This will help with fraying.

Next, put your 'snail' on top of the felt and draw the shape.

Cut out your shape.

Put some glue on the back of your 'snail' and smooooooosh the felt and 'snail' together.

VA WALL!

I did 3 different sizes for mine. Small, medium & large.


This shows the snails with the felt on the back

Once you have your 'snails' all made, glue to headband where ever your heart desires.
I personally like them to the side.

Wasn't that easy?

So I was going to stop and get a coffee this AM, but.....

Miss Reece decided that she wanted to take 10 minutes to walk around outside and NOT poop.

Listening to: The sound of the nosiest air conditioner I've ever heard. Again. However, we don't think its working, and is blowing out warm air. And it smells bad in here.

Mood: Sleepy! (see above). & excited! Going to see Steel Magnolia tonight. And if you don't know who they are, well then, I'm sorry.

Outfit: Oversized worn out tank, skinny jeans rolled, Jesus sandals.

I parted my hair more in the middle today. What to you think?

Everyone always (and still does) like my brother more than me, and I was sick of it. I took one of his shirts (could of been his favorite), out of his suitcase as we were leaving, and stashed it under the bed, and left it there! To this day, he still doesn't know where that shirt went...

Homemade & Healthy Salsa

Thanks to my wonderful friend Tyler who introduced me to this yummy, homemade salsa.
This is wayyyyy better than salsa from a jar, and is a great snack!

Here's what you'll need- grab a large bowl...this makes a ton!
1 green pepper
1 red pepper
1 yellow pepper
red onion
cilantro
1 can of corn (drained)
1 can unsalted black beans (rinsed)

For the dressing:
3 T each- red wine vinegar, olive oil, lemon juice
1-2 t of sugar
1 t each, salt & pepper
1 t italian seasonings
1-2 t minced garlic

Chop all veggies, itty bitty!
Mix dressing.
Poor over veggies. Chill & Serve.

Waaam Bamm thank you mam!

I serve mine with Lime Tortilla chips.

Yummmmm. This is my lunch today :)

Buffalo Chicken Dip=DELISH

Invited to a cookout last minute?
Meet your life saver: Buffalo Chicken Dip.

Sounds delish right?
I put buffalo sauce on everything...baked potatoes, chicken, plain celery, chicken, mashed potatoes, fries, pork chops. Yummm. Makes me hungry just thinkin' bout it.

This dip is super super easy, and I've gotten so many compliments on it.

Heres what you'll need: (now this is not a figure-friendly dip what-so-ever!)
1 stick cream cheese
1 bag of shredded monetary cheddar cheese
1 large can of canned chicken (its usually hangin out around the canned tuna at the grocery, the kind of chicken that you use if you make shredded chicken if you don't use the fresh stuff)
Ranch dressing
Franks Red Hot Buffalo Wing Sauce (this is different from just regular Franks)

Now place everything in a crock pot on either warm or low, and let it hang out until everything is melted.

Easy-Peasy!

As far as amount of ranch and Frank....totally depends on taste. I'd say I use like...1/3 of the ranch dressing, and (I like it spicy) 2/3 of the Frank.

You'll have to break up the cream cheese occasionally for it to fully melt.
Serve with tortilla chips or celery.

Totally Yummy and sure to be a hit at any get together!

Sooo I know its not August quiiiiiite yet, but its a month away.

Speaking of it being almost August, this is how I look in the office today.

Birthdays are the one of the 2 things that Josh and I celebrate. Atleast I think so. I get confused with all his 'We celebrate this, but not this, this but not this". I think there are two 'holidays' that we celebrate but I can only think of the birthday holiday right now.... I'm out of it...

Happy Tuesday!

I cannot wait for this day to be over. Not because I am wishing my days away, but because I am looking forward to a good nights sleep... hopefully.
I've been having a really hard time (I feel like thats an understatement) sleeping the past week.
Lots of noises, Reecer barking randomly....Josh will be home tonight which means no sleeping alone for me! YEAA for the next 2 nights!

1. One of my happiest moments ever was
when Joshy proposed. I had NO IDEA it was coming and all I could say is "Are you freakin' kidding me?!" with tears in both our eyes. It was a great day.

is fllllllying by. Not that I have to go to school or anything, but school starts like....the 22nd of August here. Crazy madness!

I saw this link up post somewhere out in the blogging world a couple weeks ago, and now of course, I can't find it.
So I am just doing this by myself because I'm lame like that :)

I confess that every time "To make you feel my love" by Adele (or Garth) comes on, I get teary eyed. It was the perfect song for me to walk down the aisle too, and it makes remember the day that Josh and I became husband and wife. See tears...just as I'm writing this. Darn emotions!

I confess that I secretly wish I could be a rock star. To be on a stage and have 8548947598 million fans screaming your name, that's gotta be a good feeling! I'm sure it gets old after a while, not being able to get out of your own house without crazy photographers snapping pics of your every move, but wouldn't it be great? Maybe just for a year?! Hum...what can I do that can make me famous? Hummmmm....

I confess that I think about death & dying a lot more than I should. But, I feel like it's OK for some reason (I'm weird, I know). You never know what will happen, or if you'll see the person you love again. There are wayyyyyyy too many variables in life that could go wrong, everyday. I get mad at myself for worrying about stupid little things because who knows if I'll make it until tomorrow. Not to be a Debby-downer, just being realistic. Think about it.

I confess that I eat Pop Tarts (Eating one right now). I know they're totally bad for you and you might as well eat a candy bar, but they're some convenient! Brings back old childhood memories, standing out waiting for the bus, eatin' a Pop Tart on a papertowel. Oh- the good ole' days.

I confess that I know (and I'm sure a lot of you ladies do) ALL the worlds to Spice Girls' "Wanna be" song. Thanks Rockband, but I don't need your lyric help on this one...I got it.

I confess that I don't always wash my face before bed. Again, something that you should never ever do, but I love sleep more than I love my face....so therefore, sleep wins.
